PEM Meeting Details
Thanks everyone for the valuable PEM meeting Feedback and Special thanks to LEE NING for consolidating the details.
Announcement No.1
With effect from 16 Jan 2006, ICA will exempt foreign students who are studying in your institutions from the need to obtain a Letter of Consent (LOC) if they wish to work during term time (for less than 16 hours per week) or during vacation. With this change, the "Mechanisms for the Authorisation to Work Part-Time during Term Time" implemented on 16 Nov 1996 (at a meeting with representatives of universities and polytechnics, chaired by then Deputy Director, Higher Education) will no longer be valid.

The Student Counselling Service is organising a Stress Management Workshop
open to all NYP students on 8 Nov 2006 (Wed) 3.15 - 6.30 pm

Talks on Further Education by NTU on 15th Nov 2006, 3:00pm ~ 5:00pm at LTS2, Block S (School of Engineerng).

Info: The username is "Admin no" and the password is by default "password". It updates the student details from SIMS and is not yet ready. So probably you may not see your details in the web page, when u login. It would be ready only the following semester. So i kindly urge you all to update your personal details in the SIMS aswell. As of now, we shall use it for sharing files. I would later select Lee Ning as the rep in the web portal also.
