Student Discipline: Improper attire: slippers
Dear CP0505,
In recent months, there has been an increase of our students wearing improper attire in the form of flip-flops (open-ended Japanese slippers) in our campus. This is presenting a scruffy image in our campus of our students to visitors, the neighborhood and the smartly-dressed students.
In the last round of SPICE checks, a total of 26 students (22 from SEG(M) and 4 from SCL(C)) were found wearing flip-flops. Only a few of them had excuses such as blisters or recovering from injuires.
Please be reminded that it is imperative as a student of NYP to dress properly as in accordance to the guidelines spelt out in the Student Handbook.
Sincerely,
Your PEM
